AEO & GEO: Be the Answer in AI Search

Search no longer ends at a list of links. Buyers ask Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, and they get an answer. Dabtive helps your brand become a source those answers rely on: clear entities, answer-ready content, structured data, and the authority AI systems trust.

Problems We Solve

AI Search Problems We Help Diagnose

Impressions hold steady while clicks fall to zero-click answers

Competitors are cited by ChatGPT and AI Overviews, your brand is not

AI tools describe the brand inaccurately, or not at all

Pages rank, but are never chosen as the answer

There is no way to see how the brand performs in AI search

How We Approach It

How We Approach AEO & GEO

01→

Map the questions buyers actually ask

We collect the questions, comparisons, and prompts people use across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, and group them by stage of the buying decision.

02→

Audit current AI visibility

We test priority prompts across AI assistants and AI Overviews to see whether the brand appears, how it is described, and which competitors or sources are cited instead.

03→

Clarify the brand as an entity

Name, description, services, location, people, and profiles are made consistent across the website, Google Business Profile, directories, and trusted third-party sources.

04→

Make content answer-ready

Key pages get direct answers, clear definitions, question-led headings, comparison tables, FAQs, and original insight that AI systems can extract and quote.

05→

Strengthen structured data and technical access

Schema for Organization, Service, Article, and FAQPage, crawl access for AI crawlers, clean HTML, page speed, and internal links help machines read the site correctly.

06→

Build citation-worthy authority

Digital PR, expert authorship, reviews, and mentions on publications AI systems already trust make the brand a source worth citing.

07

Measure citations and iterate

AI-referred traffic in analytics, citation tracking across prompts, Search Console, and share of answer show what changed and where to focus next.

FAQ

Questions worth answering before the brief gets written.

What is the difference between AEO and GEO?+

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) helps content become the direct answer in search features such as Google AI Overviews, featured snippets, and voice assistants. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) helps a brand be mentioned and cited by generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Both rely on clear, credible, well-structured information.

Does AEO and GEO replace SEO?+

No. AI answers still draw heavily on pages that are crawlable, relevant, and trusted, which is what SEO builds. AEO and GEO extend SEO so the same work also performs where answers are generated, not only where links are listed.

Can you guarantee our brand appears in ChatGPT or AI Overviews?+

No. AI systems decide what to cite, and their answers change over time. The work improves the signals those systems rely on: clarity, consistency, structure, and authority. It is not a placement guarantee.

How do you measure visibility in AI search?+

We track a fixed set of priority prompts across AI assistants and AI Overviews, record whether and how the brand is cited, and measure AI-referred sessions and conversions in analytics alongside Search Console data.

How long does it take to see results?+

Technical and structured data fixes can be picked up within weeks. Entity consistency, content changes, and authority usually take several months to be reflected in AI answers, depending on the category and competition.

Do we need to rebuild our website?+

Usually not. Most of the work improves existing pages, content structure, schema, and off-site signals. A rebuild is only recommended when the current site blocks crawling or structured content.

Be the source AI search chooses to cite.

AI answers are built from information that is clear, consistent, and trusted. The work is making sure that information is yours.
